I discovered that in most circumstances a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis is a good starting point for any major sport organisation's decision-making process.
The article teaches me that they have formed this strategy as they need someone that will be training every day with the team mates and learning the team objectives. I personally don’t think it should be an issue. However in a government run sport it is. Under any circumstance there is always a reason for your strategy and why you put it together, just as it states in the article, that’s why in my opinion I would highly recommend the SWOT, as I have has to use it many times before.
